The staff were helpful, but

The room felt a bit dated and could use a refresh. While the location is prime, the air conditioning had some moldy smells, and I found the pillows did not meet the cleanliness standards expected of a hotel of this caliber.

The breakfast is delicious, the room is huge and bright. The positives include marvellous and perfect location and parking onsite.

Comfy bed. Great bathroom. Huge room. Great view. Quality linen and amenities. Very friendly and talkative bell boys and lift attendants and security. Staff upon check out were much nicer than check in.

Woeful wifi internet connections and I can't believe you have to pay for it especially in a reputable Hotel chain. Very rude reception staff upon check in. Barely acknowledged me. Left me standing at reception for ages without uttering a word to me about what they were doing, I guess they couldn't find my booking, but who knows. Took a deposit on my card without advising me. Why would they not say something? They already have my card details as I booked through Booked.net why take a deposit and then not say anything, it is almost fraudulent.

The staff at the hotel provided stellar service, greeting me with a warm smile and personalized attention from check-in to check-out. I loved the extensive breakfast buffet with a diverse selection including freshly made omelets and good pastries. The swimming pool offered a relaxing oasis.

Friendliness of the staff. Functional room, exceptionally comfortable beds and marble bathroom. Excellent services, the free parking was available onsite.

The lobby is very privacy. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Since there are many muslims visitors around, your hotel shld consider putting up a halal menu for them. Thnx

Swimming pool not very clean, no halal food serve in the hotel.

The room was nice, but the buffet made my stomach turn.

1st class place, it was fairly clean and had very pleasant staff at the reception desk. I was offered an excellent breakfast at Ginger. Its location was particularly good and absolutely perfect, to markets, and in a shopping area.

The Staff are very couteous and polite.

No sign / information letter to inform the guest that there will be painted at night on the underground floor. Very strong smell of the painting color spread into the guest room 0400 hrs. In the morning !!! Strong till we woke up and cannot continue our sleep anymore. You should do it during day time. No apologize from the reception when we informed this. More training need to the front office staffs.

Really great overall experience. Absolutely brilliant hotel located just off shopping and night markets and centre. Extensive and savoury breakfast with dim sum, yummy Thai coffee and also freshly made pancakes, excellant location. Big size rooms with free WiFi and a kettle. Friendliness from the whole stuff.

The furniture and bathroom feel outdated and desperately need a modern makeover!!! Considering the price, the typical amenities offered don't meet expectations!!! It'd also be nice to have regular breakfast tea instead of just Earl Grey or Green tea!!!

we requested to change our room because it has a smell once we go into the room. the staff was very efficient in changing us to a newly renovated room. they even show us 2 different rooms so we can pick which one we like. the breakfast is good and has quite a good variety.

the hotel are in the midst of renovating their rooms now which they need it badly because the room is in a run down conditions now.

the king size bed we requested for was made up of 2 single beds. despite novotel being an international hotel brand, most complimentary hotel items were not provided for--especially hot water and cups--which made the hotel stay inconvenient.
